This project keeps with Louvigny’s identity as the “garden of Greater Caen”. It weaves together and enhances pre-existing natural structures such as the riparian forests of the Odon and Orne valleys and the hedgerows that reach into the heart of the district.#cut

The district features three pathways which reconnect the town centre and the broader countryside:
– The east-west alleyway, linking the town centre and the shopping area;
– The urban boulevard, which signals a change in the district’s image at the gateway to town;
– The north-south alleyway, linking the district to the banks of the river Odon.
